Djibouti president receives health minister

SANA'A, Feb. 18 (Saba)- The Djiboutian President Ismail Omar Guelleh received on Monday the Yemeni Minister of Public Health and Population Abdul-Wahab Rase.

During the meeting, the Djibouti leader affirmed his country's keenness to enhance historical and warm ties with Yemen in different fields, especially in health arena.
In a statement to Saba upon his return home, Rase said that the Djibouti president expressed understanding of need for mutual cooperation in health field particularly in combating epidemic diseases.
Rase added that he and his Djiboutian counterpart had signed a protocol of cooperation in health domain.
Rase made it clear that he took part in the joint ministerial meeting for discussing the health situation in the Africa Horn held in Djibouti during the period from 16 to 18 February.
He also said that on the sideline of the meeting, Yemen and Djibouti signed a document for monitoring the epidemics transported by people who transport via sea such as refugee people.
